This mornings run was horrible, I really felt like I was struggling from the beginning. I had mapped out 10km before I left but ended up talking a wrong turn along the way somewhere and when I mapped it out again when I got back it was 9.44km or 5.8 miles.
At one point I ran around a huge lake which was pretty sick but it didn’t make the run anymore enjoyable!
My nutrition has been pretty average over the past few days so I think that was a big determining factor. Not that I’ve been eating shitty food or anything. I’ve just been eating a lot of jerky and protein powder as I’ve been on the road.
I completed the run in 45min flat which is a pace of 7min 40sec miles which would give me a half time of 1hr 40min if maintained. The goal is still sub 1hr 40min so I’m on track!
I don’t feel so shitty now after working it out!
