Today we held the BB4B event at CrossFit Newton. We managed to get over 20 people to come and throwdown which was great.

I wasn’t feeling too fresh despite my 2 days off but I decided to throw strategy out the window and just go balls out. I did this WOD last Tuesday and got 2:55 so I knew in my head I wanted to beat that. I also knew that Matt was right behind me and I wanted to be as close to him as possible.

30 Clean + Jerks @ 135lbs
I hit 10 reps straight then reset hit 5 then 5 then pushed out the 10 in 1’s and 2’s. Myself and Matt finished at the same time so I was pretty psyched about that. I found being surrounded by so many people to be really motivating and was able to just let my mind go blank and get after it.
Up until today I’ve been pretty worried about the Beast Of The East competition which is in a couple weeks. Mainly because my training has been off in the last week but thats just the way it goes. I know that on the day when the adrenalin is pumping that I’ll do ok.
All you can do is your best right so if I give it everything I have on the day then thats all I need to worry about.
