I’d been meaning to hit this WOD from main site since it was posted last week but other things Kept getting in the way. Everybody was talking about the Hang Power Snatch being the issue and I honestly didn’t really think it through until I started my warmup and came to the same conclusion myself.
5 rounds for time
6 hang Power Snatch
3 Overhead Squats
all @ 135lbs
The snatches got heavy fast! I like to think of myself as being pretty good at them but I think this was the first time I’ve done them from the hang in a WOD. I had a goal in mind of getting closer to 5mins and feel like I could have pushed a little harder but thats usually the way.
I played around with L-Sits and did some weighted sit-ups and 2 sets of 10 swings with the 106lb bell afterwards.
