I was pretty sore all day today. The last few days have been tough on the upper body.
I came accross a link through CrossFit Boston to an Olympic lifting competition in july which I decided to register for.
I am still in the process of thinking about the best way for me to tackle the 5 week plan but I’m thinking about maybe doing a 5 days on 2 days off rotation. Mon Wed Fri will be foccused on oly lifting and strength and Tues Thurs will be crossfit focus, rest on the weekend. As always this will not be a set in stone routine more of a general guideline. It may work out that I will do doubles on some days etc.
I’m going to think about it a little more over the next day or so and talk to a couple of different people before finalizing my plan but I’m excited.
Goals for the competition are
Snatch 200lbs – current PR = 190lbs
Clean & Jerk 245lbs – current PR = 235lbs
Both goals are within reach I think and the next few weeks are going to be fun.
